The short version
We collect only what we need in order to look after you. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not pass it to anyone outside Garbhaveda without your consent, except where the law requires it.
What we collect through this website
When you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the type of care you are enquiring about, and anything you choose to write in the message box.
Our web server also records ordinary technical information such as your IP address and the time of your visit, which is standard for any website and is used for security and troubleshooting.
What we do with it
- We contact you about the enquiry you made.
- We keep a record so that we know what was discussed if you call again.
- We send you one automatic email confirming that your enquiry arrived.
We will not add you to a marketing list because you filled in an enquiry form.
Medical records
Clinical notes, scans and reports created during your care are held separately from this website, kept confidential in the ordinary manner of medical practice, and retained for the period required by Indian medical record-keeping norms. They are seen only by the clinicians involved in your care.
Who else sees your information
Enquiry details are seen by the Garbhaveda doctors and the staff member who calls you back. Your enquiry is also delivered by email and stored on our web hosting, which means our email provider and hosting company technically hold that data as service providers.
We disclose information beyond this only where a court or a law requires it, or in a genuine medical emergency.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It sets one essential session cookie, which exists purely to keep the enquiry form secure against forgery. It contains no personal information and disappears when you close your browser.
Other websites
Some pages embed a Google Map, and our footer links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp. Once you interact with those, their own privacy policies apply, not ours.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry record. Write to drshrutigynaec@gmail.com or telephone +91 83569 33056. Clinical records may need to be retained for a statutory period even after such a request, and we will tell you if that applies.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through it from anyone under eighteen.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
